What is RPAC?

The REALTORS® Political Action Committee (RPAC) is how REALTORS® work together to help protect private property rights, promote homeownership, and support legislation that benefits homeowners, property owners, and the real estate industry.

RPAC is non-partisan and supports candidates at the local, state, and national levels based on their positions on real estate and property-related issues, not political party affiliation.

Through RPAC, REALTORS® have a voice in important issues that directly impact:

Homeownership opportunities
Property rights
Housing affordability
Land use and development
Local communities
Real estate businesses and consumers

RPAC helps ensure that elected officials understand the real-world impact their decisions have on homeowners, buyers, sellers, and the communities we serve every day.

Contributions to RPAC are voluntary and are used to support candidates and initiatives that align with the interests of property owners and the real estate profession.

At Mason County Association of REALTORS®, we believe advocacy matters. RPAC allows REALTORS® to stay engaged, informed, and involved in protecting the future of real estate and private property rights in our community.

Defended property rights, including a U.S. Supreme Court win in Sheetz v. El Dorado.
Preserved veterans’ access to representation by helping lift a ban on buyer-paid agents.
Protected 1031 Like-Kind Exchanges, vital for investment and housing turnover.
Expanded fair housing access, supporting the bipartisan YIMBY Act and stronger HUD protections.
